About Me

I received my undergraduate degree in both psychology and creative writing from Colby College in Maine and have a Master’s Degree in General Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology from New York University. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Ferkauf School of Psychology, Albert Einstein School of Medicine at Yeshiva University in New York City. I completed my doctoral training at Mount Sinai Hospital Center (formerly known as St. Luke’s- Roosevelt Hospital Center). I then completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Addiction Psychology at the Addiction Institute of New York at Mt. Sinai.

I have worked and trained in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including large academic hospital centers such as NYU Langone Medical Center, Mt. Sinai Hospital, Montefiore Medical Center, and Bellevue Hospital. Additionally, I have worked within VA Hospitals, College Counseling Centers, State Psychiatric Hospitals, Psychoanalytic Institutes, and outpatient Substance Abuse Programs. Before transitioning to private practice, I spent several years as an Attending Psychologist at Montefiore Medical Center in the Substance Abuse Treatment Program where I offered harm reduction treatment to patients in both Methadone Maintenance and outpatient substance abuse clinics.

I am currently licensed in both New York State and Colorado.
